This Privacy Policy explains how DeepSearch ("DeepSearch", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the DeepSearch mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you use the app we create an account identifier and may store an email address to sign you in and link your subscription.
- Searches and chats. The queries you enter (names, phone numbers, products, places), your AI chat messages, and files you choose to summarize, so we can process them and show your results and history.
- Subscription information. Purchase and entitlement status, handled through Apple's App Store and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We never receive your full payment card details.
- Device and usage data. Basic technical data such as app version, device type, approximate country (to localize featured content), and diagnostic logs.
How we use information
- To provide the Service — run your searches, return results, power AI chat, and keep your history.
- To operate subscriptions and prevent abuse or fraud.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
Third-party processors
To produce your results we send your query (and only what is needed) to trusted providers that process it on our behalf, including: AI model providers via OpenRouter; web search via Tavily; business and location lookups via Google Places; public reference images via Wikipedia; and subscriptions via Apple and RevenueCat. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Public information
DeepSearch surfaces information that is publicly available on the web and in public directories. Results are provided for general information only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. DeepSearch is not a consumer reporting agency, and results must not be used to make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other eligibility (see our Terms).
Data retention
We keep your account and search history while your account is active. You can clear saved items in the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@usedeepsearch.com.
Children
The Service is intended for users 17 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and where appropriate, notified in the app.
